Sennheiser, a manufacturer of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems, recently announced a new extended partnership deal between Sennheiser UK and audio solutions distributor, APart, to offer their sound reinforcement products in Ireland.

The new deal extends Sennheiser's product offerings beyond the U.K., into Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic and will feature events to introduce Irish dealers to APart’s offerings.

Sennheiser UK general manager Phil Massey was quoted as saying, "We're obviously delighted to develop Sennheiser's successful relationship with APart. As we've already proved in the UK, we work very well together and we look forward to taking the company's excellent range of products to customers across the Irish Sea."

 

Sennheiser is currently demonstrating their wireless technology solutions at NAB 2009 and have introduced their latest 2000 Series which the company notes, “includes rugged products for a wide range of wireless applications.”

 

Sennheiser also recently announced its support for Musicorps, a program providing recovering war veterans at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center with the ability to create music as part of their rehabilitation. For the project, Sennheiser is offering its HD 25, 25 SP, SP II and HD 280, 280 Pro professional studio headphones.
