HD Conferencing Solutions Provider ClearOne Intros ClearOneXpress

HD Conferencing solutions provider ClearOne today introduced a new Web-based customer service portal to enable its partners to conduct ClearOne (News - Alert) business at any time.

Dubbed ClearOneXpress, the portal allows the company’s distributors, dealers and end-customer partners to place product orders, check shipping status, print invoices and make payments online.

What’s more they can request and check the status of RMAs, view current promotions, and conduct live chat sessions with ClearOne customer service representatives. The various features presented on the Web portal will be based on each partner's status: Each time a partner logs on, his status will be recognized and only certain feature sets will be presented.

The portal also includes an alert system which allows escalation alerts to be automatically sent to ClearOne management. In this regard the portal will serve as a valuable tool for guaranteeing prompt, reliable support for ClearOne’s HD conferencing customers.
 
"ClearOneXpress was designed to give our partners the ability to easily and securely take care of their own immediate needs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year," said Joe Sorrentino, newly-re-hired executive vice president of worldwide sales at ClearOne, in a release. "We are always looking for ways to further improve our best of class customer service. ClearOneXpress can be used as a single point of contact to consolidate all transactions into one user friendly and efficient interface."

ClearOneXpress utilizes viaKLIX, the Merchant Services Organization software of NOVA Information Systems, to guarantee security and reliability.

ClearOne, which develops and sells audio conferencing systems and related products for audio, video and web conferencing applications, last made news on TMCnet when it announced availability of the CHAT 70, a personal speakerphone that interoperates with Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Communicator.

The company also recently announced availability of the Converge SR 1212A digital signal processing mixer. Designed for sound reinforcement applications (i.e. distributing high quality sound throughout a room or facility), the mixer sports a four channel power amplifier which interfaces with 8 ohm or 70v/100v loudspeaker systems. It is designed for use in courtrooms, council chambers, corporate and AV presentation rooms, and is useful for room combining, training/lectures, high quality paging and voice masking applications.
