Distribute Crystal Clear Audio with New Converge SR 1212A Mixer from ClearOne
By Patrick Barnard, Senior Web Editor, TMCnet
Designed for sound reinforcement applications (i.e. distributing high quality sound throughout a room or facility), the mixer sports a four channel power amplifier which interfaces with 8 ohm or 70v/100v loudspeaker systems. It is designed for use in courtrooms, council chambers, corporate and AV presentation rooms, and is useful for room combining, training/lectures, high quality paging and voice masking applications.
The SR 1212A offers advanced features including automatic microphone mixing; a range of parametric, shelving and crossover filters; compression and limiting; automatic gain control; adaptive volume control; signal routing; automated system check; and ClearOne's advanced DARE feedback elimination. Multiple units can be linked to create a larger system.
"Integrating the mixing, signal processing and amplifiers into a single system provides for greater control of the audio from the signal input stage all the way to the output of the amplifier," said ClearOne CTO Tracy Bathurst in a release. "This allows ClearOne's distinct adaptive audio processes to precisely adjust to the room environment and results in a clearer, more natural sound."
Last week ClearOne announced availability of the Converge Pro 880TA, a new audio conferencing system featuring eight microphones and an integrated four channel power amplifier. The standalone system offers automatic microphone mixing; sophisticated signal processing; signal routing; and ClearOne’s HDConference technology with ultra-wide bandwidth acoustic echo cancellation.
More recently the company announced that IT products supplier Digital China is now distributing ClearOne’s HD conferencing solutions in China -- including the Converge Pro, RAV, MAX and CHAT product families.
