Esna's Cloudlink Proves Successful Among Customers

Esna Technologies (News - Alert) recently announced that an increasing number of customers from the manufacturing, retail and education sectors are using its Cloudlink solution to connect Cisco (News - Alert) UC&C solutions to the cloud.
In a statement, Emily Harris, director of Network & Systems for Vassar College, said that, "Using Esna's Cloudlink to connect our Cisco telephony system to Google (News - Alert) Apps is helping us to achieve our goal of reducing our IT costs while increasing on-campus collaboration with unified communications. We wanted to build on top of our current Cisco foundation and our confidence in Esna's tight integration with Cisco was one of the reasons we chose them."
Cloudlink for Cisco is the latest advancement in communications and collaboration for UC and has been designed to ensure easy connectivity to Cisco unified communications and collaboration with a number of cloud applications such as Google Enterprise, VMware Zimbra (News - Alert), and Jive. Customers using Cloudlink will benefit from easy access to live communication services through any device.
Mohammad Nezarati, CEO of Esna said that, “Today’s workforce is increasingly mobile and cloud oriented. As more applications and core business processes migrate to the cloud so to must the tools we use to collaborate with one another. Cloudlink was purpose-built to enable people to work and communicate with others without being tied down with restrictive applications that are only accessible from specific devices.”
Enterprises using the Cloudlink solution can leverage their existing Cisco communication infrastructure to quickly access unified communication services, which include Web conferencing, voice, unified messaging, presence, and click-to-dial in cloud-based applications. Currently, Cloudlink is available through the Cisco SolutionsPlus program enabling customers to purchase products and applications from third parties like Esna from Cisco.
The Cisco Developer Network brings together Cisco and third-party developers of hardware and software to providing customers with validated interoperable solutions.
