FreeConference, provider of automated, enterprise quality conferencing services for businesses, organizations and individuals, has integrated its services with Google (News - Alert) Calendar, providing seamless conference scheduling and sharing to its users. This addition the service expands FreeConference’s existing suite of "Sync" services which already includes Evernote (News - Alert), Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft Outlook, creating the most comprehensive set of organizational conferencing tools available.
"Once you experience the ease and convenience of these powerful tools, you will wonder how you did without them," commented Jon Huntley, CFO of FreeConference. "Our goal is to make users more productive and efficient by easily integrating with the services they are already using."
According to a press release, FreeConference’s integration with Google Calendar allows users to view conferences by day, week, month and more, share their conference calendar and view others' conference schedules, set up reminders via e-mail or text message. Users can access through their phone's calendar or the mobile version of Google Calendar using their mobile browser and sync with Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal and others.
Besides Google Calendar integration, FreeConference Sync Services can be used to create a Facebook (News - Alert) "event" to automatically invite call participants from the friends list, and schedule conference announcements that gets automatically posted periodically to a Facebook wall or Twitter (News - Alert) feed. With Evernote users can type notes, clip web pages, take photos or grab screenshots that are automatically sent to their FreeConference notebook within the Evernote app.
Using the Outlook Conference Manager, users can schedule conference calls just like they set up meetings, send invitations, manage their preferences, review account information and create repeating conferences, using contacts and meeting management tools. FreeConference’s innovative value-added audio and Web conferencing options let users customize just the conferencing features they need, and only when they need them.
