eFax Upgrades Large File Sharing Process for Businesses

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

eFax, providers of cloud-based fax services has announced a new feature called Large File Sharing, as a part of its latest free enhancement to the eFax service.

The new Large File Sharing feature resulting from the eFax Next initiative is a comprehensive solution that offers mobile faxing, digitized signatures, enhanced security, and lifetime storage for subscribers, making it easy for businesses to manage their documentation processes better.

In a release, Mike Pugh, vice president, marketing of j2 Global (News - Alert) Communications, Inc. said, “eFax has always helped professionals easily move traditional paper documents like contracts and financial documents. Now, our customers are also working with files such as promotional videos, high resolution images, and sales presentations that are too large to email. This new Large File Sharing feature shows eFax’s continued commitment to enable businesses to work smarter not only when faxing, but also when managing other business-critical files.”

Kyle Flowers, director of marketing, fax products, at j2 Global Communications, Inc., explains that, “Most of us have battled with the troubles of large email attachments resulting in blocked or bounced email. eFax solves that with our new Large File Sharing feature where subscribers just fill out a simple web form, upload their file, and their designated recipients receive an email with a link to the file. The sender can even be notified after their files are downloaded.”

eFax’s new premium Large File Sharing solution which is free for U.S. subscribers makes it easy to send over-sized media files, extensive databases and other very large graphic-intensive documents via email. By setting up an eFax account, which provides a reliable and secure environment, U.S. subscribers can upload and share files well over 25MB via email to any email address without worrying about the emails bouncing back or not getting delivered.

Paid (News - Alert) U.S. subscribers can enjoy features such as free file sharing up to 1 GB per submission, high speed downloads and the option of uploading and downloading multiple files in a safe environment. In addition, they will have mobile access to stored files and will be able to send files to 20 recipients per submission. Paid subscribers will also be able to keep a track on their downloads via email notification and will be provided with phone, email and knowledge-base customer support.
