TP-LINK, a networking solutions provider, is launching a new family of SOHO and home networking solutions at the 2014 International CES (News - Alert).

Expanding its leadership in WLAN and broadband CPE devices, TP-LINK added new products in its wireless small office, home connectivity, and customer premises equipment (CPE) categories.

TP-LINK's AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router features the next generation IEEE (News - Alert) 802.11AC Wi-Fi standard, offering data transfer speeds of up to 1.9Gbps: 1.3Gbps over the clearer 5GHz channel and 600Mbps over the 2.4GHz Channel. It supports ultra-fast USB 3.0 port for sharing files, movies or music and can be configured easily using TP-LINK's Tether App.

TP-LINK's AC1900 will ship in the second quarter of 2014 with an MSRP of $179.99.

The second product in TP-LINK's new 802.11ac line is an enterprise-class 802.11ac Dual Band Wi-Fi access point (EAP320) with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. Supporting the latest 802.11ac wireless standard and featuring intelligent centralized management tools, the TP-LINK Enterprise Wi-Fi Access Point (News - Alert) provides businesses with the speed and control to transform their network.

The EAP320 with PoE capabilities will be available in Q3, 2014.

The new Pharos series of customer premises solutions includes four CPEs, two base stations, several external antennas, and a centralized management application.

The solution is suitable for small businesses and enterprise environments. TP-LINK's Pharos Series uses MAXtream TDMA Technology, which allows complex networks to run without disruption from their component parts. Another aspect of the Pharos line is that it introduces advanced Tx Beamforming technology to improve the quality of long distance wireless connections. Pharos line will be available Q3, 2014.

TP-LINK has also introduced Combo Range Extender and AV500 Powerline Adapter Kit that can deliver high-speed home networks so users can add computers, entertainment centers, gaming consoles, printers, NAS hard drives and other devices without the need to run additional wiring.

The TL-WPA4220KIT provides complete Wi-Fi coverage throughout a home, including hard-to-reach areas like on multiple floors, in basements or outdoor living areas. It helps customers set up a Powerline network in minutes with 128-bit AES encryption for network security and data protection. The solution will be available in the first quarter of 2014.

TP-LINK is also launching its AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter (TL-PA8010) that offers throughput of up to 1 gigabit. It is the company’s fastest HomePlug (News - Alert) AV2 standard powerline adaptor that promises lag-free HD video streaming and online gaming capabilities.

Other products on display at CES include TP-LINK Cloud Security Cameras that can also act as wireless extender providing additional wireless coverage around each camera.  With 720p video, the camera produces vivid images ideal any screen. It also comes with integrated sound, motion and even PIR sensing to deliver immediate email alerts as soon as any movement is detected.
