The information age requires contact centers to be more diligent about the risks associated with electronic data generated by enterprise communication technologies. In particular, regulatory and legal issues regarding data archiving mean companies must focus on compliance for any client data they access and update.
With this business reality in mind, ArcMail Technology, Inc., an email archiving provider, added NxSource to its North America channel program. As a result, NxSource will offer fully compliant information archiving for its contact center clients’ business communications and data, which can include hosted and server-based email, SharePoint, social media, direct files, Salesforce Chatter and other data sources.
ArcMail’s information archiving solutions were developed to index and archive content types, email attachments, SharePoint, social media and collaboration content, according to the company. The solution includes data deduplication across content types, retention management, content indexing and legal tools for e-discovery such as legal holds, advanced search capabilities, exporting and other features.
The overall goal of the partnership is to reduce risks litigation and regulatory violations related to data archiving. The combined solutions will help customers develop effective email policy, which is supported by employee training and enforced by the technology, according to the companies. Additionally, other benefits include a reduction in primary storage costs, enhanced backup capabilities and improved email server performance.
NxSource’s clientele includes midsize and large enterprise call centers in industries like loan servicing, government, order placement, hospitals and related fields.
"We are thrilled to join ArcMail's channel program," said Bob Hennessy, CEO for NxSource. "As an ArcMail partner, we can better serve our customers by offering simple, secure and cost-effective archiving solutions with broad deployment capabilities.
