The Shandong Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China -- one of the largest banks in the People's Republic of China -- realizing that the concept of mobility is gaining momentum and can no longer be pushed into the background, has entered into an agreement with Beijing NationSky Network Technology, Inc. It hopes to fortify its IT position by using enterprise mobility solutions.
NationSky provides enterprise mobility hardware and software solutions for more than 1,000 large and medium enterprises in China, and its NQSky mobile enterprise management system will be deployed on approximately 6,000 Android (News - Alert) mobile devices.
Managing so many mobile devices is problematic. They bring with them the allied risks of security and the complexity of managing apps and devices, but NationSky promises to overcome these challenges and simplify the task of management. It is expected to securely mobilize the workforce with its mobile device, application and content management solutions.
Together, the solutions are expected to help in the collective configuring of devices, prevent data loss caused by theft of mobile devices, and also help administrators to monitor and manage how employees use them.
Managing of apps will also become easier with enterprises being able to recommend only those apps that they think suitable. App use behavior can be monitored to help develop and optimize the app experience. And most important, security permission can be set for all documents, ensuring the security of enterprise data.
"We look forward to our new cooperation with the Agricultural Bank of China," said Charlie Hou, founder and CEO, NationSky. "Now, Agricultural Bank of China customers will have peace of mind that their private data is secure, regardless of the platform."
The project hasn't taken off in a big way as it is currently in the implementation phase. However, it is expected to be fully operational in the second quarter of this year.
