Compuware (News - Alert) Corporation, the leader in a new generation of application performance management, has announced that will host a special webinar where it will recognize and honor its fifth annual “Best of the Web” award winners.
Hosted by David Jones, field technical support engineering manager for Compuware APM (News - Alert), the awards are designed to showcase the leaders in site performance from five major industries: banking, brokerage, insurance, retail and travel. The webinar takes place Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 1:00 p.m. (EST). Jones has more than 15 years experience working with Web technologies, starting with some of the first commercial HTML/SGML authoring software to the latest cutting-edge Web and mobile tech.
“The winners were determined based on the response time, availability and consistency of their sites in 2013,” Compuware said in a release.
According to the company, the “Best of the Web – 2013 Compuware Mobile & Web Performance Awards” lives up to its name, recognizing the “best of the best” companies that have earned top honors for their mobile and Web performance excellence throughout 2013 by meeting users' expectations and providing exceptional online experiences.
Attendees will not only be the first to hear who this year’s winners are, but they will also get insight into the winners' best practices for optimizing mobile and Web performance, in addition to further insights into the honorees’ planned strategies for consistent performance coming up in 2014.
It makes sense that Compuware should dole out this special recognition.
