Q4 Mobile will develop a smartphone mobile application for Innovative Solutions.
Both companies have signed a contract to this end that will enable real-time video recording, editing and tagging on mobile devices.
Q4 Mobile is a division of Q4 Systems, a Social Media, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud Computing (SMAC) solutions provider.
“This contract is another big win for our mobile application division and demonstrates again that we have the technological expertise to win substantial contracts for the development of both smartphone and tablet applications,” said Jeff Wentzel, Q4 Mobile's director of Business Development.
SeeQ, a new video app by Innovative Video Solutions is designed to increase the performance and experience of using smartphone and tablet devices for video recording.
Ideal for both professionals and recreational users, SeeQ boasts a variety of real-time editing, tagging and playback features that are not easily available in traditional mobile device video applications.
Innovative Video Solutions has designed SeeQ for several fields including sports, investigations and medical care. The solution will be released in the market next year.
“After an extensive review of potential technology development partners, we selected Q4 Mobile for the development and release of our initial smart-phone solutions,” said Terry Aasen, chief executive of Innovative Video Solutions. “Their expertise in creating innovative mobile applications is the reason we chose QFOR.”
Q4 Systems is an IT software company that develops and implements mission-critical cloud-based enterprise systems for both Fortune 500 companies and smaller enterprises. The company was in news earlier this year for announcing that its FanggleCast multi-channel messaging system, FanggleCast, is being used by libraries for emergency notifications.
In addition to multi-channel communication, FanggleCast includes LibraryTV, Two-Way Renewal, Library Mobile App, QR Codes, library database integration and NFC. FanggleCast enables multi-channel communication over Email, SMS and social media.
