Protext Mobility, an app-maker for the mobile communication market, has reportedly contracted Windmill for designing and managing the company’s brand building.
It is amazing how mobile communication has improved the lifestyle of individuals and sped up business transactions. Even then mobile communication is not free of its vices and vulnerable to misuse. As Protext’s communication partner, Windmill, a communications house specializing in designing and managing social-media focused communication services, is tasked with communicating the issues relating to mobile communication and upholding the advantages of using such mobile apps as Protext’s DriveAlert-OBD-I when it comes to avoiding some of the risks associated with mobile communication.
Protext’s DriveAlert-OBD-II mobile solution is aimed at curbing distracted driving, especially when the distraction is caused by the driver’s urge to take and share “selfies” photos.
If you have thought that taking and sharing selfies photos is a practice prevalent among young girls with narcissist complex, think again, for the trend of snapping "selfies" photos and videos behind the wheel and then sharing them on the go, have become an alarming social activity among smartphone users. Now to complete the entire process of accessing the camera on mobile phone, then going to the self portrait mode and finally clicking the snap require at least one of your hands--- nothing to speak of the distraction—which is near suicidal.
As Protext’s communication partner, Windmill will leverage various social media platforms to explain how the DriveAlert-OBD-II solution can help the drivers combat a variety of distracted-driving issues, such as selfies photo sharing.
In addition, Windmill will also focus on spreading words across the social media channels about Protext’s suite of mobile solutions for Android (News - Alert) OS Version 4.3.
According to Protext official, the tie-up is perfectly timed, as the dangerous trend of taking and then sharing "selfies" photos and videos behind the wheel have become rampant in the recent months.
“We are excited to engage with Windmill and their experienced communications team. Given the dramatic growth seen in the mobile communications market and the ever-increasing need for solutions to combat a variety of issues facing mobile phone users today, it was imperative that we begin to tell our story and actively engage with our audiences,” CEo of Protext, Steve Berman stated.
