Challenger Freight Selects EasyLink's Cloud-Based Fax Services
Challenger Freight Systems, Inc. (Challenger Freight), a full service freight company, has selected EasyLink for outsourced desktop and production fax services.
EasyLink’s production fax services will be integrated with Challenger’s freight management software to securely and rapidly automate the delivery of shipping documents, eliminating the inefficiencies of manual fax handling.
“Challenger Freight is continually implementing IT solutions that will reduce operating costs while streamlining operations,” said Randy Cantrell, vice president of Challenger Freight in a statement.
“By eliminating our fax servers and moving to a standardized messaging platform, we can rapidly integrate new business processes, substantially reduce IT expenditure, and leverage a highly scalable architecture to accommodate our growth strategies - all while enhancing the services we provide our customers,” said Cantrell.
“Our rapidly deployable, ‘as a Service’ fax solution will enable Challenger Freight to automate fax communications, enhance the value of their process management system, and meet customer service objectives,” said Maloney.
Recently, EasyLink Services International Corporation announced that a leading premium chocolate and confectionary company has entered into a multi-year agreement to utilize EasyLink’s EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Value Added Network (VAN).
EasyLink’s EDI VAN enables the customer to serve their trading partners more efficiently with robust reporting tools, expert customer support, and proven ability for rapid on-boarding.
EasyLink’s EDI VAN powers all of the customer’s transactions through a single, fully integrated, scalable solution that reduces costs while improving efficiencies.
Comprehensive tracking and reporting enables a common view of demand and fulfillment information across the supply chain, and rapid rollout services eliminate the complexity of planning and enabling electronic trading with new customers.
