E911 Hosted Solutions for the Enterprise Improved with 911 ETC's 2011 Strategic Partnerships

By Jaclyn Allard, TMCnet Web Editor

911 ETC, a provider of E911 hosted solutions for the enterprise and SMB markets, has helped numerous enterprises in implementing an E911 hosted solution, as well as jump such hurdles as: Joining separate and distinct PBX (News - Alert) clusters into one database; DID to non-DID translation; implementation of a hybrid solution for VoIP and TDM; among others.

Beginning 2011 with new goals and remembering 2010 achievements, 911 ETC moves forward and joins forces with two Avaya platinum partner dealers, XETA Technologies (News - Alert) and Quagga, which was recently acquired by 911 ETC’s existing partner, PAETEC. The new alliances will provide enterprises with E911 service for PBX and IP-PBX, offering clients a fully managed E911 solution for TDM, VoIP or a hybrid of the two that meets E911 mandates across the nation.

Larry Scott, president of 911 ETC, once was quoted saying, “I’m proud to be able to state that 911 ETC now partners with hundreds of organizations nationwide in providing the E911 protection that everyone deserves while at their school or place of work. We’re excited to continue to build on that success in 2011.”The strategic partnerships with XETA Technologies and Quagga are exactly what Scott had in mind. He announced in a recent statement, “We share a commitment with our partners in providing the best in workplace safety when it comes to E911. With more states mandating E911 legislation this year that affects the enterprise, these alliances further enable us to provide our mutual clients with E911 service that is both affordable and fully managed.”

In other news, 911 ETC has welcomed Mac users, announcing at Enterprise Connect (News - Alert) this week that SoftLoc, an application introduced in 2010 requiring soft phone users to provision their location information for emergency services, is now compatible with the Mac operating system and will be implemented nationwide with a Fortune 100 beta client.
