DIDX Helping Connect Fastest-Growing Companies with Success

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

The Inc. Magazine 500|5000 Award application for the fastest-growing companies in America recently closed its doors, however, will remain open through application partners such as Super Technologies and its DIDX business community until April 30, 2009.

The award is open to private companies in the United States that have grown between 2005 and 2008 and ranks among the 5,000 fastest-growing companies based on revenue growth over the three-year period.

According to Suzanne Bowen, CEO of DIDX, DIDXchange (News - Alert) is keen on playing a key part in assisting businesses to get the “recognition they deserve” via Inc. Magazine.  In 2007 Chapman Innovations won a place on the Inc.com 5000 List through DIDXchange referral, according to Bowen.

To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2005, and therefore be able to show four full calendar years of revenue and be a U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent.

In addition, companies must have a minimum of $200,000 in revenue in 2005 and at least $2 million in 2008.

The award will also recognize the top companies in many metro areas, regions, and industries, as well as the top minority and woman-owned companies. Inc. Magazine created the award to bring attention to the business community.

Among the other advantages are being recognized in Inc. Magazine: The Handbook of the American Entrepreneur, as well as recognition from national and local media, customers, partners, and potential investors, according to the publication.

For some time, DIDX has teamed with other companies to bring attention and help expand the DID market. As TMCnet recently reported, in an extended effort to bring International DID capability to the wider VoIP market, DIDX has teamed with pbxnsip (News - Alert) and snom technology AG to provide interoperability testing between the three companies' products and services.

In a joint effort that was completed in less than 24 hours, the trio managed to demonstrate the relative ease in which testing and certification can be completed.

“This testing and certification shows the ease of use and interoperability between standards-based SIP components and how service providers can quickly provision and deploy DID/DDI services worldwide,” said Paul Jamieson, director of Sales at pbxnsip, a provider of VoIP applications for ITSPs, call centers, telephony, and hospitality.
