Outside the Box, Not Out of the Box Deployment and Management Solutions from VoIP Integration

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

If you’re looking for VoIP programming and development software, as well as innovative deployment and management solutions, you’ll want to check out VoIP Integration. They offer implementation services and software, with a particular focus on helping customers with Cisco (News - Alert) unified communications system installation and management.

The company is particularly proud of its personalized tack to installations, relying on their development team to find unique ways to approach installation issues. Think of more “outside the box” than “out of the box” approaches.

Okay, maybe you can handle a standard Cisco installation with no help, great. More power to you. Experience, however, will probably lead you to seek the help of developers and programmers who know what they’re doing with Cisco. In fact, company officials say, much of their business comes when other installers tell a customer that Cisco can’t do that. At that point, VoIP Integration sees their value-add as being able to say, “Chances are that we can bridge the gap for you with something custom.”

The company has an impressively diverse list of applications they’ve developed using custom VoIP, call center, IP phone and XML, just to give you an idea of their capabilities. VoIP Integration has worked these into such systems as medical appointment reminder systems, jury duty phone attendance verification, online banking, school truancy notification systems, house arrest violation systems and the like.

When it comes to programming, the deployment and management solutions provider powers Cisco IPCC / UCCx script development, “including interfacing to external data via a number of methods including database and Web service consumption,” according to the company. And for VoiceXML (News - Alert), the company uses user’s network infrastructure with custom voice XML programming and handles the development of custom IP phone services “to deliver applications directly to Cisco Phone (News - Alert) sets within your organization” as well.

Basically, VoIP Integration offers a wide array of capabilities; if you don’t see it listed they can probably still handle it.
