DocuSign, a provider of the cloud computing eSignature platform, has stated that they have partnered with salesforce.com to offer electronic signature services on the Force.com platform for customers. The joint OEM agreement will allow DocuSign facilitate end-to-end cloud based business transactions for Salesforce CRM customers.

It is claimed that cloud computing has transformed the way businesses operate and likewise electronic signatures are changing the way business transactions are done by conducting them entirely on the cloud. Real-time insight can be achieved over the agreement signing process by moving the document signing into the cloud. Through the integration of DocuSign with Salesforce Chatter, businesses can collaborate and have real-time visibility into who has received, reviewed and signed a document.

According to DocuSign, they have specifically designed an eSignature solution designed for Saleforce CRM - DocuSign for Salesforce that brings users and their customers together to get transactions done. DocuSign is fully integrated into every component of Saleforce, so users will know when their deal is delivered, when it's opened, when it's signed and when it's been delivered back to them. And because it's all electronic, they will be able to close business even faster and with the confidence that comes from knowing that their contracts are legally binding and fully backed by a court-admissible audit trail.
