Palmchip Launches PalmCloud Services for Salesforce CRM

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

Palmchip, a provider of connected and secure technologies, has launched its PalmCloud services for Salesforce.com’s customer relationship management, or “CRM,” system by providing design, integration and customization services using the Force.com platform.

According to company officials, the new PalmCloud Services are capable of converting users’ ideas for a cloud computing app into reality and design, develop and support the application for them.

Jauher Zaidi, CEO of Palmchip, said that the company has signed a partnership with Salesforce.com (News - Alert) to help their customers save time and money. They are well positioned to take ideas and transform them into a cloud application within a very short period of time.

PalmCloud Services includes cloud and software-as-a-service, or “SaaS (News - Alert),” application design and development for AppExchange, customization services for Salesforce.com clouds using the Force.com platform and integration and support services.

The new PalmCloud services will be helping customers with Salesforce.com integration with other systems. They have successfully integrated a support portal developed in .NET (News - Alert) for a technology customer with Salesforce.com. The integration is in duplex mode, which means change in any of the system is reflected in other system.

Also PalmCloud services have successfully moved a huge database of important data from a .NET web application running on SQL Server 2005 to Salesforce.com’s data store. The data migration was carried out with the help of Salesforce.com Web API’s and APEX Data Loader tool. The link between two applications is kept alive to keep data synchronized 24/7.

Palmchip has claimed that their deep expertise in Salesforce integration and customization along with other web development platforms/languages provide a complete solution for anyone looking for developing or porting their applications to Salesforce.com.

“Salesforce.com's AppExchange program has had an incredible impact on the business success for several of their customers, and they expect the same for companies who are looking to build an application using the Force.com platform,” Zaidi said.

Recently, Palmchip bolstered new cloud computing application in efforts to move towards paperless systems, and Fonality (News - Alert) launched the PBXtra Unified Agent on Salesforce.com.
