New York-based
NetSuite, a provider of on-demand, integrated business management software, today announced that
Iron Mountain Digital, a global provider of enterprise Software- and Storage-as-a-Service solutions for backup and archiving, has deployed the
NetSuite OneWorld on-demand solution to better manage its billing operations.
Launched in 2008, NetSuite (News - Alert) OneWorld is a cloud computing solution that enables multinational and multi-subsidiary companies to manage their global business operations in real-time.
It is also the only on-demand system to deliver real-time subsidiary management and business consolidation capabilities to mid-market companies for accounting/enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and Ecommerce operations, at a fraction of the cost of traditional on-premise ERP solutions. It even
received the 2008 Product of the Year Award from Customer Interaction Solutions magazine.
With this solution, Iron Mountain (News - Alert) Digital was able to combine multiple disparate billing software systems into one unified billing system. In addition, the company can operate with a single real-time view of its billing operations and can communicate with customers of its data protection and archival services around the world. Iron Mountain can do this without sacrificing the range of different subscription and per-usage billing software models attached to its services.
"Moving from multiple fragmented systems to one system has transformed our ability to manage our billing system," said John Clancy, president of Iron Mountain Digital, the technology arm of Iron Mountain Inc. "NetSuite OneWorld has made it easier for our digital business to interact with customers of our data protection and archiving services for billing and invoicing matters."
"The Iron Mountain Digital deployment is a great example of the power of NetSuite OneWorld to quickly turn a series of separate billing software applications into a single, unified billing system," stated Zach Nelson (News - Alert), CEO of NetSuite. "It also shows the power of NetSuite OneWorld to help fast-moving business units of large companies to find a financial software system designed for their business, but able to work within the context of legacy headquarters' ERP systems."
During the implementation process, Iron Mountain Digital collaborated with NetSuite's professional services team to ensure that the billing activities of all of its production systems were properly consolidated, ensuring single-invoice simplicity for its customers.
The NetSuite team also leveraged the NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS) platform to enable deep customization to meet the complex ERP needs of billing and integration with a corporate financial software system.
The company will be releasing its financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal 2008 after the market close today during a conference call at 2:00 p.m. (PST) / 5:00 p.m. (EST).
Dial-in information for the call and a live Webcast will be available on NetSuite's Investor Relations Web site and an audio replay and archived Webcast will be posted on this site after the teleconference.
