Velaro, a vendor of live help for increasing sales, has announced the release of Live Chat for NetSuite (News - Alert). The offering features integration with the NetSuite on-demand business management suite and uses NetSuite's ability to present a 360-degree view of customer information by using core functionality in CRM, ERP and e-commerce.
Live Chat for NetSuite is designed to provide real-time visibility to all customer data, as well as documentation of customer support notes and elimination of transferring data from one application to another.
The integration of live chat and NetSuite was accomplished using the NetSuite Business Operating System, a set of development and testing tools allowing ISVs to create new applications and whole vertical products using NetSuite's core functionality.
By building on and extending the core of NetSuite, Velaro officials say, NS-BOS "increases ISVs' speed-to-market."
Among the product's advantages of Live Chat for NetSuite, is that it allows customers to search for or create NetSuite leads and cases in real-time while being in a Velaro live chat session. Upon completion of the chat, each transcript is automatically attached and archived to the associated NetSuite records.
Earlier this month, three mid-market and enterprise companies going live on NetSuite were announced - Intuitive Surgical, Nestle UK, and Wasserman Media Group.
Intuitive Surgical sells operative surgical robotics, and will use NetSuite CRM to integrate and manage a number of complex business process services that they provide to hospitals across the United States.
These services include tracking where and when its operative surgical systems are used, as well as which surgeons are using them. In addition, Intuitive Surgical's sales organization uses NetSuite to manage sales business processes, including tracking all new sales opportunities with surgeons and hospitals, and managing long sales cycles.
Nestlé U.K. used NetSuite Ecommerce to build an integrated online store, and now runs its online store for employees and local communities on NetSuite.
The company is famous for Nescafe. Following legislative changes, the company underwent a major reorganization of its manufacturing and distribution site in York, resulting in the loss of space for its popular staff shop. NetSuite helped develop an online store where current and former employees and selected members of the local community could log on, browse available stock, place orders and collect them later.
Wasserman Media Group replaced Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics-Great Plains with NetSuite to run its front and back-office operations, including partner athlete commissions management, and tracking and billing direct costs to customers.
