United Federal Credit Union Selects FIS' CRM Solution

FIS, a provider of banking and payments technology, has signed an agreement with United Federal Credit Union for its MISER core processing solution.


The United Federal Credit Union serves more than 100,000 members across five states and has 22 branches and $1.2 billion in assets.

Officials with FIS said that besides this core platform, United Federal Credit Union will also deploy FIS’ CRM solution, Connections.

Company officials said that the credit union selected MISER because of the solution’s ability to scale in support of its growth strategy as well as the solution’s lending, collections and charge-off functionality, which will help the credit union maximize income on deposit accounts.

Thanks to the asoption of Connections, United Federal Credit Union is now positioned to immediately improve its core processing capabilities and prepare for future growth and technological advances.

“MISER's extensive automation and tightly integrated core processing functionality provide the flexibility we need to accommodate our aggressive growth objectives,” said Mark Weber, chief financial officer of United Federal Credit Union, in a statement.

Weber said that the credit union selected FIS because not only do they provide superior system installation and support, but the credit union also wanted a single source provider that can deliver technology solutions that will meet the needs today and well into the future.

Company officials said that FIS’ MISER is a complete core processing solution for credit unions that delivers increased efficiency, revenue and profitability through its integrated and scalable design.

With MISER, credit unions can service both retail and commercial customers, increase the speed of member service requests and transaction processing and manage workflow by interfacing with documents, images and cross-selling opportunities.

“In this increasingly complex business, providing a total core processing solution enables credit unions to capitalize on the highest level of automation and integration,” said Anthony Jabbour, executive vice president, financial solutions group of FIS.

Jabbour said that FIS was able to provide a best-in-class solution to support United Federal Credit Union’s growth.
