IRON Solutions Improves Dealer Support, Streamlines Operations with NetSuite's Cloud-based CRM Software

IRON Solutions deals in new and used agricultural, industrial and outdoor power equipment. It supports hundreds of North American New Holland Agriculture equipment dealers by giving them access to a database containing a wealth of information about new and used equipment. Dealers can use this service to look up equipment values and also to showcase their products and dealership information.


In addition IRON Solutions offers Web-based tools used by financial institutions and equipment owners for tracking the value of existing equipment holdings.

Not long ago the company was looking to modernize and extend its systems to provide greater command and control to dealers. Company officials realized that they didn't want to go through the hassle of integrating separate systems from different vendors, resulting in longer implementation time, higher maintenance costs and reduced system reliability. Rather, they saw the need for a single cloud-based platform that would allow for integration of IRON Solutions' data products with a cutting-edge customer and equipment lifecycle management solution. In addition the company needed a solution that could facilitate dealer tracking of assets in real time.

It didn't take long for the company to recognize that NetSuite's SuiteCloud Platform and the order management capabilities of NetSuite CRM+ were the best options. Using SuiteCloud, IRON Solutions was able to quickly build a custom solution that perfectly meets dealers' needs.

Using this new vertical-specific solution, dubbed 'IRON HQ,' dealers can now 'quickly collaborate with and respond to prospects, moving inquiries through quoting, appraisal and integrated floor planning and financing process to maximize transaction speed, accuracy and profitability,' NetSuite (News - Alert)officials state in a release. 'Both dealers and end-users benefit from faster inquiry-to-order times, reduced errors, more accurate appraisals, increased visibility into inventory and a streamlined sales process.'

'With IRON HQ equipment sales teams can move from a yellow pad to an iPad,' said Darwin Melnyk, IRON Solutions CEO.  'Last generation applications required our customers to have specially trained staff to install, upgrade and patch software and have dedicated servers and networks to capitalize, operate, secure and backup their business information. NetSuite's cloud-based platform enables IRON Solutions to rapidly deliver equipment lifecycle management services in a flexible, powerful, affordable and complete service.'

Melnyk said the solution has seen rapid adoption among the dealers - many of them enjoying the benefits of IRON HQ just a few days after purchase.
