Cloud-based Business software provider NetSuite (News - Alert) is growing and reportedly plans to add 150 positions over the next few months.

The provider of cloud-based CRM, ERP and financial software is actively recruiting to fill more than 150 positions in a range of departments including sales, customer service and support, and engineering and development.

According to a release the company is seeing increased demand for its cloud-based business software. As such it plans to grow its development group by approximately 30 percent.

"NetSuite's total commitment to the cloud, and our unique position as the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financial and ERP software suites, certainly are important factors in the gains we are making against traditional providers of pre-Internet architected applications," said Zach Nelson (News - Alert), CEO of NetSuite. "Continuing to attract and retain the brightest minds in the industry is critical to our goal of being the only cloud ERP suite of scale for the foreseeable future."

Last week NetSuite announced a partnership with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) aimed at helping finance executives succeed in adopting cloud software technology.

As part of the “Transformational CFO” educational series via live seminars, webinars, white papers and published research, the IMA and NetSuite plan to explore this and other related topics. NetSuite officials said that Transformational CFO program is now available to all IMA members.

NetSuite’s cloud-based business software is seeing increased adoption and the company announced numerous customer wins in recent months. The company beat analyst forecasts in the second quarter of this year when it reported revenue of $47.1 million, a 17 percent increase, and profit of $1.9 million, up from $687,000, over the previous quarter.
