ReadyTalk (News - Alert) has launched ReadyTalk for Salesforce on Salesforce.com’s AppExchange 2, saying that it will help accelerate the market shift to Cloud 2, the next cloud computing paradigm.
The company’s audio and Web conferencing platform is integrated with Salesforce.com (News - Alert). Company officials said that this automates the manual processes associated with managing webinars and online training and exposes these programs to others in the organization.
ReadyTalk for Salesforce enables marketers and trainers to eliminate time-consuming spreadsheet work since it captures registration and attendance details directly in Salesforce.com. Moreover, it can also increase visibility across the organization and provide sales, support as well as the ability to invite customers and prospects to important marketing, training and sales programs. Plus, it is also expected to speed sales follow up by providing immediate access to attendance data.
“For our training department, who are power users of both Web conferencing and Salesforce, this integration is very exciting,” said Jill Myers, business systems analyst at OverDrive (News - Alert).
Myers said that ReadyTalk for Salesforce will enable their team to seamlessly invite customers and track attendance, which will eliminate time=consuming processes so the trainers can focus on content rather than event logistics.
“Because we will have clear insight into participation across all webinars, our marketing, sales and account management teams can more effectively prioritize and customize our post-event tasks and messaging,” Myers said.
Currently, ReadyTalk’s audio and Web conferencing services support webinars of up to 3,000 participants. In addition, they give customers access to a full-suite of tools for planning webinars, engaging audiences and following up effectively.
Thanks to the integration with Salesforce.com, ReadyTalk customers now will be able to send polished e-mail invitations to Salesforce.com leads, contacts and campaign members via ReadyTalk's invitation tool or a third-party email marketing system.
In addition, they can also collect registrations with a customized form and automatically create new leads for registrants and attendees not already in Salesforce.com, and automatically record attendance data and give sales instant visibility into the sessions their prospects and customers are involved in.
ReadyTalk provides audio and Web conferencing and webinar services designed for lead generation, interactive training, sales demos and collaborative meetings. Earlier this year in May, ReadyTalk announced the availability of the Eloqua (News - Alert) Cloud Connectors for ReadyTalk.
