ReadyTalk (News - Alert) announced the launch of ReadyTalk for Salesforce on salesforce.com’s AppExchange 2 at Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference.
Company sources explained in a release that this solution will help accelerate the market shift to Cloud 2, the next cloud computing paradigm. The integration of the audio and Web conferencing platform with salesforce.com enables the automation of the manual processes that can manage Webinars and online training.
ReadyTalk for Salesforce enables marketers and trainers to save a lot of time as they need not undertake spreadsheet work as it captures registration and attendance details directly in salesforce.com. Also, the increase in visibility across the organization, sales support and ability to invite customers and prospects to marketing, training and sales programs are beneficial to any organization. Further sales get hastened owing to the immediate access to attendance data.
Jill Myers, business systems analyst at OverDrive (News - Alert), Inc. stated, “For our training department, who are power users of both web conferencing and Salesforce, this integration is very exciting. They will be using the app to manage an annual event that includes 30 live web sessions and approximately 15,000 registrants.”
ReadyTalk for Salesforce will help the OverDrive team to seamlessly invite customers and track attendance. This lets trainers focus on content and not event logistics. The increased visibility of all Webinars helps the marketing, sales and account management teams to prioritize and customize post-event tasks and messaging, opines Myers.
Webinars enable lead generation activities besides being suitable for conducting training sessions. They produce high quality leads and are affordable for all organizations and hence are imperative for all forward thinking companies.
Company officials added that the integration with salesforce.com allows ReadyTalk customers to send polished e-mail invitations to salesforce.com leads, contacts and campaign members using ReadyTalk’s invitation tool or a third-party e-mail marketing system. Also, they can collect registrations with a customized form and create new leads for registrants and attendees. Attendance data is automatically recorded to give greater visibility into the sessions, prospects and customers.
In May 2011, ReadyTalk announced the availability of the Eloqua (News - Alert) Cloud Connectors for ReadyTalk for increasing the accuracy of webinar-generated data and move leads through the marketing and sales pipeline faster.
