The enterprise cloud computing company, Salesforce.com has announced that it is conducting Cloudstock, the Woodstock for cloud developers at Dreamforce 2010.
The company officials said that this particular will be open from 6th December 2010 to the cloud developers at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco and the main highlight will be the important 60 sessions, demos, networking and a Cloudstock Hackathon, which will be sponsored by ProgrammableWeb.
The various cloud computing technology providers and developer communities that are participating in the event are Adobe, Amazon Web Services, Box.net, eBay, Engine Yard, Google, Heroku, 10gen/MongoDB, OnLive, PayPal (News - Alert), ProgrammableWeb, salesforce.com, SimpleGeo, Twilio, VMware, and Yahoo! Developer Network.
This conference allows the registered attendees of Cloudstock to use their passes for free access to the keynotes and expo of Dreamforce 2010, Salesforce.com's (News - Alert) 8th annual user and developer conference, which is collocated at Moscone convention center.
The company also said that the registration for the Cloudstock Developer conference has reached capacity and is closed.
Salesforce.com is an enterprise cloud computing company headquartered in San Francisco, USA that distributes business software on a subscription basis. It has its services translated into 16 different languages and currently has more than 82,400 customers and over 2,100,000 subscribers.
Company recently made news for signing an extensive deal with Hewlett Packard that would replace Oracle (News - Alert) Siebel with Salesforce.com. The deal would add an additional 35,000 to 40,000 seats to Salesforce’s team and will put HP’s management techniques solidly in the cloud.
