Cloudforce 2010: London, the largest cloud computing event in the U.K., has been announced by Salesforce.com (News - Alert), the enterprise cloud computing company. The event will take place on September 8, 2010 at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre in London.
This landmark event, with the arrival of Salesforce Chatter, will showcase Cloud 2 technologies, the next generation of enterprise cloud computing that is social, mobile and real-time.
To deliver their vision of this next-generation of enterprise computing, industry leaders including BMC and CA (News - Alert) will participate alongside salesforce.com. The attendees will also get to hear from visionary business leaders on how Chatter is delivering a better way to work in the enterprise.
By bringing together industry luminaries, more than 35 cloud leaders on the tradeshow floor and 17 expert-led breakout sessions, Cloudforce 2010: London will provide the roadmap for cloud computing in the U.K.
Marc Benioff (News - Alert), chairman and CEO of Salesfoce.com will deliver the event's keynote speech at 10:00 am BST. A live audiocast of Benioff's presentation will be available at www.salesforce.com/investor and live videocast at www.salesforce.com/live. The attendees can also have a short question and answer session with Benioff.

Nearly 20,000 customers, after Chatter became available in late June, have deployed the social collaboration technology. The latest announcements and innovations for Chatter will be seen by the attendees. They will also learn how to succeed with the Sales Cloud 2, Service Cloud 2 and the Force.com enterprise cloud computing platform.

The latest on how Chatter enables businesses to build Cloud 2 apps, can be heard by Force.com developers, who are eager to innovate on the industry's first enterprise social platform. The developers, through the breakout sessions will be able to create new, social apps or enhance existing apps built natively on the Force.com platform using a rich set of pre-built social components.
In related news, Salesforce.com, the enterprise cloud computing company, has launched Jigsaw for Salesforce CRM, an entirely new crowd-sourced business data service exclusive to Salesforce CRM customers.
