What’s the best way to showcase your product to potential products? Demonstrate it at a live event.

 

That’s what The Conference Group (News - Alert), a full service provider of audio, video and Web conferencing services, is doing with its products. The company plans to display is full suite of conferencing products at an upcoming industry event, but it will showcase its ReadyShow products, which includes video and Web conferencing solutions.

 

Because of the recent uptick in interest in the videoconferencing sector, The Conference Group will offer a live demo of ReadyShow Video, a browser-based desktop service, according to Greg Plum (News - Alert), director of Business Development for The Conference Group. 

 

The Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2010 event, which takes place March 1-3, targets indirect sales organizations.

 

During the event, Plum will also host a session on desktop videoconferencing.  The discussion, called “Desktop Video Conferencing for Dummies,” will cover the basics of desktop videoconferencing. Plum also plans to conduct a live demo of the service with a remote, international participant.

 

What’s driving the growth? According to Plum, the technology’s ease of access, decreased cost of bandwidth and manageable, flat-rate pricing packages make videoconferencing service attractive.

 

“Our starter packages make it possible for even small enterprises to implement this service with no capital expense and nominal on-going expense,” Plum said.
