The Conference Group, a full-service audio, video and Web conferencing company, recently announced that its Channel Manager, Greg Plum has been selected as a finalist for Channel Executive of the Year by PHONE+ magazine.

 

As a monthly publication of Virgo Publishing for the telecommunications indirect sales channel, Phone+ magazine selected 10 finalists based on solicited nominations from channel partners. The finalists will be honored and the winner will be announced at during an awards ceremony held at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo held in Las Vegas, on Sunday, March 1^st, 2009.

 

PHONE+ magazine will feature the finalists and the winner in its April issue.

 

Plum became a member of The Conference Group (News - Alert) in 2000, at which time he set out to further develop the company’s channel strategy. In order to be eligible for this award, a nominee must have been the top person in the company’s channel operations – at the executive level of vice president or higher – at a telecom vendor. Channel partners were then asked to vote for the Channel Executive of the Year based on nominees’ leadership, performance, innovation and contribution to the indirect channel.
