Child Rights and You is a non-profit organization working with 200-plus grassroots organizations in India, “addressing the root causes that keep children hungry, illiterate, exploited and abused,” according to CRY officials.

CR officials prioritize “constant and instantaneous communications,” as they invest significant human and financial resources to manage many programs across India. “Group communication among employees is largely restricted to e-mail and online chat as these are cost-effective channels,” CRY officials note, adding that while telephone and face-to-face meetings are also used, “traditionally these are not preferred options as the costs are phenomenally higher.”

So Eagle Conferencing’s team analyzed CRY’s needs from business productivity point of view, and offered its flagship audio conferencing services free of charge to CRY, as well as conferencing support tools to expand their conferencing usage.

For more flexibility, Eagle Conferencing gave a bridge facilities option with a full suite of support tools as well as a private conference room. This “communication bonding with participants,” according to CRY officials, now helps them accelerate community programs and reach out further into their community on a daily basis.

The outcome has worked well for CRY. The partnership between CRY and Eagle Conferencing “has accomplished a smooth execution of value-added conferencing services for community program,” CRY officials say, adding that it has used the services, which has “increased its productivity, and reduced operating costs. The combination of productivity and reduced costs are critical to CRY as most of these monies are raised through donations from general public.”

Weekly meetings allow a group to gather at two or three different locations without having to travel for these meetings, saving great travel expense, for which CRY officials are grateful: “This new business platform has helped CRY achieved its community objectives and operating performance metrics. CRY is using this productivity tool on a daily basis and continues to expand its usage across India.”
