ShoreTel (News - Alert), a communications provider that specializes in IP phone systems that have the ability to seamlessly integrate with unified communications (UC), has just signed a distribution agreement with Tech Data (News - Alert) Canada, the Canadian division of Tech Data Corporation. This newly signed agreement will help to deepen the market penetration of ShoreTel business communications solutions to partners and customers within Canadian Provinces and Territories.

Currently, Tech Data Canada boasts a partner base of over 5,000 technology resellers and solution providers, while offering a vast range of expertise in IP telephony, wireless networking and VoIP technologies. A press release revealed that ShoreTel's partnership with Tech Data Canada will enable resellers to streamline business operations in local currencies and time zones, with local inventory. In addition, the company will now be able to power stand-alone ShoreTel products and multi-vendor solutions that have been created to measure up to increasing demands from customers.
