Communications Provider PowerNet Global's Voice Offerings Profiled

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

PowerNet Global (News - Alert) is a communications provider that powers voice services that come complete with a broad range of enhanced service features. If your business is looking for the ideal communications provider, you should definitely check out these innovative offerings from the company.

At this time, there are four major services within the voice services division that PowerNet Global offers. First is dedicated voice. Could your business benefit from reliable, secure communications with greater affordability? Sure it could. But how do you get that? By installing a dedicated Long Distance T1 through PowerNet Global, since this allows you make long distance calls directly into the network. With this setup, you get the kind of connections your business requires, because as company officials explain, with these dedicated circuits calls can bypass local routes and “there are fewer charges associated with calls.”

Second is switched long distance. Noted for its reliability, switched long distance is pretty familiar, as it’s been around since the telephone was invented. The way it works is when a call is placed the phone connects to a switch, thus connecting the call. That’s all there is to it. PowerNet Global officials say their service connects your calls for a lot less money, and they can offer varying plans depending on your business needs.

Third is dedicated local T1/ PRI. This ability is great for any organization to have, since it lets you have a high speed, intelligent connection with PowerNet Global's Local T1/PRI (Primary Rate Interface) service, a dedicated local voice service that provides clear, digital access for applications.

Fourth is integrated access. PowerNet Global Integrated Access is described as a flexible way to meet individual demands – while being scalable enough to grow with your business, since it has integrated access combining voice and Internet on a single T1 line.

In July, TMCnet had the news that the company, a veteran of the telecommunications industry for nearly two decades, unveiled a new high-speed Internet service for business customers in greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The wireless broadband service is powered by a high performance redundant network backbone that uses PMP 320 fixed point-to-multipoint technology from Motorola (News - Alert) Solutions. PowerNet Global will offer high-speed Internet packages that are bundled with VoIP and wireless services at competitive price points. Business bundles for voice and data start at $129.95 per month.
