PowerNet Global (News - Alert), a Cincinnati, Ohio-based communications provider that offers voice, data, SIP, and managed solutions to commercial and residential customers nationwide, announced it has signed on as a Trailblazer sponsor for the PregnancyCare of Cincinnati Walk for Life, scheduled to be held on September 17, 2011 at Winton Woods.

Company officials revealed that this sponsorship represents the communications provider’s commitment, investment, and endorsement to the Cincinnati community, company officials said.

As one of the Tristate’s largest telecommunications providers, PowerNet Global offers multiple phone and Internet services at competitive rates.

For over 26 years, PregnancyCare has been caring for women by offering free pregnancy tests, parenting classes, material resources, and medical referrals. PregnancyCare’s three centers catered to several thousands of Cincinnati residents last year. 

 The 2011 Walk for Life will raise vital funds to enable PregnancyCare to continue to serve the community. “Through this level of sponsorship, we are able to devote our time and energy towards our real focus: helping women and families with some overwhelming needs,” PregnancyCare Development Director Steve Stephenson added.

In related news, TMCnet recently reported that LightSquared, a communications provider that powers wholesale-only integrated 4G-LTE (News - Alert) wireless broadband and satellite network, signed a multi-year wholesale agreement with PowerNet Global. Under the terms of the agreement, PowerNet Global will become a wholesale customer on LightSquared's (News - Alert) 4G-LTE network and will develop its own branded voice and high-speed mobile data services for its business and residential customers.
