PowerNet Global, a provider of communications services to businesses and residents nationwide revealed its partnership with XO Communications, an Ethernet service provider, to bring its agents and customers Ethernet service at lower prices.

According to a release, PowerNet Global (News - Alert) will offer Ethernet bandwidth increments ranging from 3Mbps to 1Gbps, which can satisfy the needs of business with bandwidth not available from many other communications providers.

"What makes this relationship with XO Communications (News - Alert) so powerful is that it allows PowerNet Global to provide more Ethernet speeds at better prices," Matt Ziebro, vice president of Enterprise Sales at PowerNet Global, said in a statement.

"Many other providers just aren't offering the bandwidth increments we will now have available," Ziebro added.

PowerNet Global has been associating with many communications agents and affinity groups to offer a range of integrated voice, data, and SIP solutions to residential and commercial customers. The Company believes that ethernet, a data service that provides Internet access at a lower cost per megabit of service than traditional T1-type services, offers scalability with smaller gaps between bandwidth tiers and is one of the easiest technologies to manage and deploy.

"XO Communications is excited to expand its relationship with PowerNet Global to include a complete suite of Ethernet services, as well as the back office automation for pricing, qualification, order entry, and customer care," Marc Dyman, vice president of Carrier Services Sales at XO Communications said in a statement.
