Telehouse to Host Breakfast Seminar at New Manhattan Colocation Facility

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Telehouse America, a provider of colocated data center facilities, international Internet exchanges and managed IT services, has announced the launch of its first ever Breakfast Seminar at its brand new data center in Chelsea, Manhattan.

The company cut the ribbon on this colocation center on January 24, 2011. This center represents Telehouse's third colocation facility in the New York City area. The company also operates data centers in downtown Manhattan and on Staten Island, where it maintains its corporate headquarters.

An opening ceremony was conducted by Telehouse on February 3, where employees invited customers and prospective guests to explore its colocation facilities and get a first hand feel for the excellent space that it offers.

The planned breakfast seminar is scheduled for March 10th at 8:30 AM. Two great speakers are scheduled to present and Telehouse will also offer tours of the data center, niche networking opportunities and a gourmet breakfast buffet. Interested parties can click here to register.

This new colocation facility is 60,000 square feet of data center space and expands Telehouse’s presence in the New York market. This latest opening brings the company’s total global data center footprint to 39 facilities across 10 countries and territories.

The Manhattan facility was purchased in direct response to the growing demand for diverse carrier neutral, colocation space in the city. The new, secure, state-of-the-art data center facility is designed to exceed the colocation demands of all companies sizes, while also providing proximity convenience to local businesses.

Customers will also enjoy access to the dense telecommunication network offered in New York City.

Speakers for this first ever Breakfast Seminar include Carmine Colletti from TAMP SYSTEMS who will present: Assuring Business Readiness when a Crisis Strikes; and Lou Lazzaro from Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable, presenting: 4G Network Pioneering the Future of Business Technology.

In other Telehouse news, TMCnet recently reported that eBaum’s World decided to go with a new colocation facility in Manhattan, operated by TELEHOUSE (News - Alert) America. This facility provides all the capabilities required, at a cost that supports eBaum’s growth goals.
