The communications technology available today allows organizations and contact centers to collaborate with everyone across the value chain using different solutions. With the right communications platform, it is possible to merge smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs and other standalone devices so they can be integrated seamlessly to function as one cohesive unit. Fonality (News - Alert), a company that provides business phone systems and integrated communications solutions, is itself consolidating all of its product lines under one code based and a brand name, Fonality.
The restructuring of its product line will be offered as three simplified editions available with monthly subscriptions. This is part of a complete overhaul of the company’s overall appearance, which will include a revamped logo and website.
The new packages are available as three tiered editions made up of the Essential, Professional and Ultimate, with all editions including unlimited queues for basic contact center functionality. The new branding is eliminating trixbox and PBXtra to new customers, but the technology of the platform is available under the new line.
- The Essential – provides basic phone features including on-demand call recording, audio conferencing, a choice of business phones and a web browser click-to-dial plugin.
- The Professional – has a cross platform Heads Up Display web and mobile applications, an integrated softphone, and CRM integration.
- The Ultimate – includes the company’s full range of features including: paperless fax, voicemail transcription, and HD video collaboration with screen sharing across desktop and mobile.
“We’re excited to reveal an even simpler way to select a business phone system that meets current and future needs. Combined with the release of the web client version of our popular Heads Up Display application, we look forward to a new era of helping businesses thrive with innovative communication tools,” said David Scult, Fonality’s chief executive officer.
The new Fonality line of services is designed to fully exploit existing technology in today's marketplace by harnessing mobile and cloud so organizations can have the flexibility to adapt to market conditions as events take place. It can be deployed in the cloud, dedicated hosted, hardware on premise, or software with a new subscription-based pricing options for both software and equipment.
“As our customers change and grow,” said Scult, “Fonality grows with them. We’re the only provider that allows customers to choose their own adventure, and even switch from one to another, as their needs change. We have the most frictionless product on the market.”
