Webhelp TSC, part of Webhelp Group and provider of multi-lingual, multichannel CRM services, has won new contract from Mobile by Sainsbury’s, which offers Nectar (News - Alert) points on packages, handsets and accessories.
Mobile by Sainsbury’s is the latest in the company’s new client pickups this year. Recently the company procured businesses from PhotoBox and NOWTV.
Webhelp TSC, formerly known as HEROtsc, was bought by Webhelp Group earlier this year for nearly $120m. The acquisition of the Indian outsourcing provider has turned the company into of the largest customer experience providers in Europe, with 35 centers employing 17,000 people and revenues in excess of $490 million.
The new contract further bolsters the company’s momentum in the multi-channel CRM space.
Under the contract, agents based at Webhelp TSC’s Warrington site will handle pay-as-you-go customer calls and e-mails on behalf of Sainsbury’s new mobile phone network venture. The mobile network is a joint venture between Sainsbury's and Vodafone (News - Alert).
The multi-channel contract between Webhelp TSC and Mobile by Sainsbury’s is valid for two years.
Commenting on the contract win with Mobile by Sainsbury’s, Mike Purvis, sales and marketing director at Webhelp TSC, said, “The breadth of our Mobile sector experience along with our focus on insight-led solutions will ensure we continually deliver the best possible customer service to Mobile by Sainsbury’s customers at a competitive cost to serve.”
Purvis added that the company has expertise in delivering excellent customer experience by reducing customer effort, integrating channels and applying appropriate ideal action strategies at an individual customer level.
“Mobile by Sainsbury’s is delighted to be working with Webhelp TSC in delivering a great experience for our customers,” said Emma McLaughlin, Mobile by Sainsbury’s marketing director, in a statement.
Webhelp operates several contact centers in the U.K, with locations in Dearne Valley, Derby, Dunoon, Glasgow, Greenock, Kilmarnock, Rothesay, Warrington, London and Falkirk.
