Unified IP business communications solutions provider, Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) is reporting a new appointment today. The Indianapolis-based company has appointed Anant Chitale to the role of Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) manager. Chitale, who will be based in Sydney, Australia, will manage customer and technical support for Interactive Intelligence's all-in-one Communications- as- a- Service cloud-based contact center platform.
The company says the addition of Chitale will boost the service it can provide to larger customers of the solution, reported ARN this week.
“Chitale’s expertise and knowledge in service management will help underpin the requirements of our mid-size to large contact center and enterprise customers in their deployment of a comprehensive hosted solution,” said Brendan Maree, managing director for Interactive Intelligence Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
Prior to joining Interactive Intelligence, Chitale worked for Juniper Networks as service manager, where he established managed service solutions for the likes of Telstra (News - Alert), the CBA and IBM. He has 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in service and customer relationship management in multi-vendor environments. This includes tenures at Ericsson, Optus (News - Alert), and Motorola Australia. Chitale also has deep experience in executing high value-support service engagements and ITIL-based service management, and has overseen the performance of contracted service level agreements.
Interactive Intelligence is a Platinum sponsor of ITEXPO West 2012. To be held Oct. 2-5 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX, ITEXPO (News - Alert) is the world’s premier IP communications event.
