Cloud telephony services are becoming more and more imperative in order to maximize time and improve operational efficiency.
Terrapin (News - Alert) Solutions, a cloud services master agency based in San Ramon, California, will provide Appia's cloud telephony-based communication and networking services through the company's agent network.
As a member of Appia's rapidly growing network of partners, Terrapin is authorized to distribute all of Appia's managed voice, data, video and networking services to businesses and organizations nationwide.
"The team at Terrapin understood the value of cloud computing years before anyone coined the phrase," said Jason Ulm, vice president of sales, Appia, in a statement.
"Like Appia, they have been providing hosted VoIP since its inception. That experience is rare in the industry and invaluable to customers", said Ulm.
He said that the company is delighted to work with them.
Appia Communications is a provider of remotely managed communication and networking services, with a focus on small and midsize companies and organizations.
Appia says that its solutions help customers minimize capital investments, reduce costs, enhance employee productivity, improve customer care, and compete more effectively against much larger enterprises.
"Terrapin is very excited to add Appia to our portfolio of best-of-breed cloud telephony providers," said Andrew Pryfogle, CEO, Terrapin.
Pryfogle said that the company's initial implementations with Appia have proven they offer outstanding value with tremendous operational excellence.
"We're looking forward to building a great business together," he added.
Pryfogle said that the two partners will also release a case study on one of their first customer implementations.
