Customize Your Social CRM Database without a Programmer

By Erin Harrison, Executive Editor, Cloud Computing

Every business has different needs as to how they customize their CRM database – and with so many CRM applications, programming skills are often required. In this demo video, Soffront demonstrates how its simple-to-customize social CRM program can lower implementation costs.

Soffront’s visual tools include what it terms a “powerful” drag and drop feature allow you to design data entry forms, allowing you to customize the database behind the scenes – without programming.

As an example, the video shows a lead form that can be easily modified, including a custom name, label and description; other field attributes, such as calculations, can be easily added. All form design can be done without programming. The program eliminates costly implementations and time consuming delays. Expensive VAR integration fees and consultants are unnecessary with Soffront’s solution.

Using Soffront’s user-friendly program, designing a database is easy and time efficient, allowing companies to customize their CRM depending on their business.

Soffront’s Visual Designer allows you to customize screens, quotation templates, email templates, dashboards without any programming. You can extend Soffront CRM to add new functions without any programming.

As the video points out, using the alignment tools, you can align and size the field boxes quickly so they are aligned and sized to match. To change from a text field to a list field, double-click the field and update the type of field from the drop down menu. Select list and then select the value list button – here you can create your list items.

To preview changes at any time, simply click “preview form” to see how it’s going to look.

Using Soffront’s Visual Designer, you have the flexibility to add new database tables, fields with powerful attributes, necessary data forms, actions, workflows, states, business process flow, business rules, reports and analytics.

Personalizing the interface allows users to be creative in creating forms that gather key information. You can design the form the way people are familiar with using the form to maintain or increase their productivity.
