Kuwait-based International Turnkey Systems (News - Alert) (ITS), an integrated information technology solutions and software services provider, has reportedly selected NaviSite’s Managed Cloud Services (MCS) to deliver its higher education solutions to colleges and universities.
“The company has chosen our Managed Cloud Services for its customer deployments, test and development projects, and internal applications,” said Mark Clayman, senior vice president for Enterprise Sales at NaviSite (News - Alert).
ITS delivers a portfolio of services that include enterprise and higher education solutions, and provides networking, storage management, systems security, printing and output processing solutions. Leveraging the speed and efficiency of NaviSite's MCS, the company expects to reduce the costs and accelerate the implementation and completion of customer projects.
“With MCS, ITS can leverage the elasticity and cost-efficiency of the cloud to speed deployments and reduce infrastructure costs for their customer-facing and internal office applications,” Clayman said.
Moreover, ITS is expected to use MCS for its test and development projects. Plus through NaviSite’s solution, the company plans to support internal office applications, including messaging, collaboration and project management.
“NaviSite’s MCS offers a set of compelling benefits, including speed, agility and efficiency,” said Waleed Ibrahim, Information technology Manager at ITS. He believes that the company can now eliminate the delays and high costs typically associated with procuring resources for large-scale deployments, while providing customers with on-demand access to shared, dynamically scalable resources.
NaviSite provides solutions that address requirements across a wide range of industries, including higher education, financial services, healthcare and government. The company’s full suite of services includes on-demand managed cloud services; managed messaging and collaboration; fully-managed application services to support back-office ERP operations; and traditional managed hosting services.
Earlier this month, Proactis, a provider of spend control and eProcurement solutions, selected NaviSite’s MCS to deliver eProcurement solutions to its North American customers for deployments across the globe.
