Each year, a growing number of organizations that wish to provide their customer base with flexible, scalable and highly cost-effective application services have embraced cloud computing technologies.

Just this week, UK-based PROACTIS announced its intention to offer its spend control and eProcurement solutions via the cloud. By adopting NaviSite's (News - Alert) MCS, PROACTIS will be able to significantly reduce its IT management costs, while simultaneously diminishing the inherent risk of implementing and operating its own infrastructure. The collaboration with NaviSite will enable PROACTIS customers to efficiently and cost-effectively respond to their ever-evolving resource requirements.

Mark Clayman, senior vice president of enterprise sales at NaviSite, said that PROACTIS will be able to "expand its application delivery channels" and better support its evolving client base by adopting NaviSite's suite of software and services.
