Carrier-Grade Softswitch Provider ALOE Systems Marks Significant Sales Volume

By Juliana Kenny, TMCnet Web Editor

ALOE Systems, formerly MERA Systems (News - Alert), rebranded in 2010 and marked a 35 percent increase in total sales volume while maintaining strong relationships with leading telecom players and improving overall global business performance.

By strengthening technological partnerships with major players in the telecom industry, the carrier-grade softswitch provider was able to mark a significant increase in revenue and branch into new markets. As a leading developer of VoIP softswitch solutions for telecom carriers and service providers, ALOE Systems set a range of key business initiatives in motion to extend its leadership position in the VoIP solution market.

Konstantin Nikashov, CEO of ALOE Systems stated, “We’re proud to announce that ALOE Systems ended 2010 on a very strong note of improved business performance. The 2010 year was marked by a number of major changes and remarkable success for the company – MERA Systems has become ALOE Systems and, despite all market anticipations, has underscored its improved performance.”

As part of a marketing shift, ALOE rebranded to gear its services more towards large-scale carriers and to better reflect the company’s new identity. Having been in the carrier-grade softswitch market for 20 years, ALOE benefitted from this shift significantly in 2010.

We can only expect to see more improvement from ALOE in the coming year. Nikashov continued, “In 2011 we plan to strengthen our positions in the market of Tier 2 carriers being loyal to our customers and technological excellence of our VoIP softswitch solutions. We truly believe the stability and rich functionality of our softswitches coupled with ever-developing distribution chain and cooperation with leading market vendors pave the ALOE Systems way for driving market share gain and future growth.”
