C3 (News - Alert)/CustomerContactChannels, a Plantation, FL-based provider of outsourced call center services, recently announced its plans of expanding its customer-contact operations in Guatemala. The company has planned to open a second customer-contact center in Guatemala City where it will provide customer support in English, Spanish and French.
C3/CustomerContactChannels plans to hire 500 professionals for its new contact center. The positions include customer service representatives, operations supervisors, managers, quality assurance reps and trainers.
“Finding the right location for service delivery from Latin America has always been challenging,” said Ken Epstein, C3’s executive vice president of global sales and marketing. “The key to success is to identify the best workforce in a city that is not over-saturated.”
“In Guatemala City, the workforce is reliable, very well educated and many of them speak very good Spanish and English,” said C3 Executive VP for Corporate Development, Miguel Ramos. “This is an emerging market for contact centers, and there is a lot of headroom for growth here. The cost of labor is also attractive, which makes the location very valuable for our clients.”
