Usually getting the job is a reward in itself for an employee, but if you're among the first to be hired at this firm, you'll have the added benefit of helping out a family in need.
CustomerContactChannels (C3 (News - Alert)), a Florida-based customer management solutions provider, and Angel’s Hands Foundation, a nonprofit based in Salt Lake City, Utah, have paired up to create jobs and get charitable funds rolling in.
Angel’s Hands Foundation works to help local families raising children with rare diseases. The company is launching an ambitious hiring mission, looking to fill 700 full-time positions within the health care sector. C3 is targeting the Wasatch Front (northern central Utah), specifically, where it is rolling out another customer contact center.
For each applicant hired in its new call center, C3 will donate $100 to Angel's Hands (up to the first 100 employees), Deseret News reports. So if you land the job with C3, you could be inadvertently sharing the love with families in need.
Ken Epstein, the executive vice president of global marketing for C3, says that the jobs available are mostly health care customer service representative positions, and a few management positions.
“In addition to a competitive compensation plan, C3 will provide 100 percent paid training,” Epstein says.
Mark Kristensen, the co-founder and president of Angel's Hands Foundation, describes the collaboration as a "win-win for everybody," and adds: “Our community gets much-needed, high-quality jobs, and our organization will receive a generous cash infusion to further our efforts to help families deal with the pain and suffering associated with rare diseases."
If all goes as planned, Angel's Hands Foundation is soon to come into $10,000. Kristensen says the money will go toward assisting families by helping with medical bills and purchasing equipment not covered by insurance for their children in need.
