Ubiquity Global Services, a provider of business process outsourcing, works to supply companies with live customer support services, interactive voice response solutions, multichannel real-time servicing, risk management services and a variety of digital and physical correspondence services. To maximize the availability of such services, the company has been expanding its network to more locations.
Recently, the company announced a significant expansion of its international delivery network, with the opening of a new contact center in Bacolod, Philippines. Headquartered in New York City, the BPO organization already has offices at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Philippines, and will soon begin operations outside Metro Manila at the Negros First Cyber Center in Bacolod City.
"We've been very impressed with the professional talent available in Bacolod and in the Province of Negros Occidental," said Matt Nyren, founder and president at Ubiquity, in a statement.
"Ubiquity has also benefited from the support received from Governor Maranon and Bacolod City Councilor Jocelle Batapa-Sigue since we initiated our search for a second Philippine location. We look forward to rapid expansion in the CyberCenter, which will be an ideal site for the delivery of our servicing solutions," Nyren added.
Bacolod is the most populous city in Western Visayas and ranks as the 17th most populous city in the Philippines. The outsourcing sector in the region is predicted to grow dramatically over the next two years, according to the Bacolod-Negros Occidental Federation for Information and Communications Technology (BNFIT).
Ubiquity confirmed that it will open its Bacolod site in April 2014 and will be hiring more than 200 employees in Bacolod over the next 90 days. The new site has the capacity for more than 1,000 new employee positions, and as such the company will be continuing its operational expansion throughout 2014.
"Ubiquity will be the first occupant of the CyberCenter and will serve as an employer of choice for young professionals seeking to advance their careers with a world class outsourcing organization," said Batapa-Sigue, founder of BNFIT.
