U.K.-based webCRM Announces CRM on Mobile Devices

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

U.K.-based webCRM, a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, announced the launch of CRM access designed for all mobile phones, including iPhone, Android (News - Alert) and BlackBerry devices, as well as tablet PCs and iPads.

Clients, via laptops, tablet PCs and on the iPad, are already using the company's web-based CRM system. By adding new mobile access, customers of webCRM will be in a position to access directly on their mobile phones.

The CRM on mobile is designed to enable users to access detailed information and work solidly through their activities, sales opportunities and projects while on the move. They can download documents such as quotations and send e-mails and access reports.

“More of our customers are accessing webCRM on mobile phones and so our team has been working on a compact version that brings the full functionality of the main menu to smaller devices,” said James Bogue, director at webCRM UK, in a statement.

“A good CRM system is all about being up-to-date. Our customers can now ensure their system is live. Users are able to handle their activities, sales leads, opportunities and projects through their preferred device.”

webCRM has more than 6,000 users in over 1,300 companies in 20 different countries.

Deployment of good CRM enables better data collection and thereby helps organizations understand what the customer wants. This has a direct impact on an organization's growth.

Recently, a research by TechNavio revealed that the Chinese CRM market is likely to grow at a CAGR of 21.5 percent. The report indicates that the market is currently driven by the need for better customer service in the region.
