Zendesk Partners With SugarCRM to Deliver 360-Degree Customer View

Zendesk, a cloud-based help desk software provider, announced that its help desk software is now integrated with SugarCRM (News - Alert), a leading customer relationship management (CRM) company.


 

Zendesk for SugarCRM allows customer support agents to seamlessly access SugarCRM customer data from their Zendesk help desk software, and vice versa. The integrated solution creates a unified view for sales, marketing and customer support data. It is provided with several functionalities.

 

The solution gives a complete view of customers and opportunities from sales to marketing to support and gives access to Zendesk's support ticket management functionality directly from SugarCRM. It allows the storage of key CRM data within the Zendesk profile for better decision making.

 

"In order to provide the best possible service, companies need a holistic understanding of each customer relationship," said Zack Urlocker, COO at Zendesk, in a statement. "Zendesk for SugarCRM ensures important details don't get lost between sales and support, so every customer interaction can build on and strengthen the existing relationship."

 

According to Clint Oram, CTO and co-founder at SugarCRM, Zendesk for SugarCRM allows users to see the whole customer picture, from sales to support, including up-to-the-minute customer support information straight from the help desk.

 

“All customer interactions are tracked, meaning a quicker resolution time and happier customers,” said Oram.

 

The Zendesk for SugarCRM will be available for the 6.1 and 6.2 versions of Community, Professional and Enterprise editions of SugarCRM and will be offered free of charge to all Zendesk customers who use SugarCRM.

 

Recently, Zendesk announced  new releases of Zendesk for iPad and Zendesk for iPhone (News - Alert) apps. These updates give greatest flexibility for customer support agents to easily view, update and manage support requests anytime, anywhere, according to the company.
