CRM Intelligence has become essential to drive results at every stage of the buying lifecycle, from the first marketing contact, through the sales process, to the account management and growth stage.
Companies offering CRM intelligence solutions are seeing growth thanks to the rising demand for this type of technology across every industry. Gartner (News - Alert) recently predicted that the CRM market leads all enterprise software categories, and is projected to grow to a $36 billion market by 2017.
InsideView, a provider of CRM Intelligence, is one such company that has made big strides in the CRM Intelligence segment. The company has just secured $19 million in financing to support research and development, as well as market expansion, of its CRM Intelligence solution.
The financing was led by Split Rock Partners (News - Alert), with participation from the company’s existing investors, Emergence Capital, Foundation Capital and Rembrandt Venture Partners. Following this development, Split Rock Partners managing director Jim Simons joined the Board of InsideView.
The CRM Intelligence from InsideView currently serves nearly 13,000 companies and over 350,000 marketing, sales and account management professionals. It aims to provide the data, insights and connections needed to help organizations find more leads, win more sales and grow accounts.
“InsideView has demonstrated a unique understanding of the marketing and sales process and how CRM can be improved to support it,” Simons said. “The rapid growth of its customer base indicates a tremendous appetite for InsideView solutions, and our due diligence conversations with InsideView customers revealed a clear impact on revenue and productivity, to a degree we rarely, if ever, see.”
According to InsideView officials, the new investment allows them to deliver critical new capabilities and CRM integration for their customers.
InsideView CRM Intelligence platform consists of three applications: InsideView for Marketing, InsideView for Sales, and InsideView for Account Management. InsideView is interoperable with several CRM platforms and marketing automation solutions.
