Egypt Enters the Hosted Contact Center Space

So many companies, especially those with a global reach, see the benefits of having a call center on demand. But hosted contact center solutions have not caught on to the point where they are omnipresent. Some companies in some countries are just now starting to embrace the benefits of hosted contact center solutions. The latest nation to enter the on-demand call center space is Egypt.


Recently, C Square Consulting designed, implemented and integrated a hosted contact center to serve the Middle East and Africa. The deployment is based on the Genesys (News - Alert) SIP-based solution with Genesys High Availability. The center is headquartered in Cairo, Egypt.

The center is a blended environment and will feature inbound calls and outbound calls using a predictive dialer. The solution is designed to predict incoming traffic as well as the availability of agents, pushing outbound calls to available agents when appropriate. It is a multitenant implementation, the first for the region, and it uses both voice and multimedia channels to service customers.

“It was technically challenging for me to accept the project which will be the first ever implementation in the region of its kind. With dedication and a focused approach we have not only successfully completed the project but have received additional enhancements change requests now,” said Hassan Shaikh, chief technology architect at C Square Consulting.

C Square consulting is a fairly new company, having started in 2009, and it intends to deliver strategic and technically challenging deployments throughout the region. The company has global aspirations, and offers solutions to a variety of vendors, assessing business issues and finding the most suitable solution.
